We are looking for a FRENCH speaking ENERGY ANALYST to join a specialist energy & environmental consultancy based in central London with a flexible work culture and highly personalised client approach . In this unusual role you will have outstanding classroom-based training in order that you get up-to-speed quickly with relevant industry knowledge. Unlike with other Consultancies, you will also be immediately exposed to clients and will be expected to work independently at a high intellectual analytical level . Work is project-based and there will be some (limited) travel involved. Fascinating role with a high profile consultancy (this company is currently attending the Nov 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference , or COP29).

Title: FRENCH ENERGY ANALYST

Location: London

Team : Energy Research & Environmental Consulting . There will be occasional travel involved to attend conferences and meet clients

Language required: Native standard French and English ( Portuguese is useful )

Salary to £50,000 + excellent benefits including a discretionary bonus

Work style: 100% office-based during first 3 months probation. Thereafter 3 days in office and 2 days wfh

Duties

  • Using Excel on a daily basis to help translate data into incisive commercial insights.
  • Produce well researched reports in French and English ( between 2-4 at a time) for external client circulation
  • Working on several projects simultaneously and have direct client contact
  • Manage a template and personalise Powerpoint presentations for client circulation
  • Understand datasets and produce energy forecasts and work on energy Transition reports around clean energy and Carbon Credits
  • Contribute news articles to various recurring monthly and annual reports and publications in French and English
  • Collect, cleanse and manipulate supply and demand data

Requirements

  • French and English to native standard (essential )
  • Advanced excel and advanced PowerPoint (essential)

  • A master's degree (preferred)
