We are currently recruiting for a leading environmental consultancy with expertise in energy, sustainability, infrastructure, landscape design, mining and waste working closely with clients in both public and private sectors. They have a requirement for an Air Quality Consultant to join their office in London This is an exciting opportunity for a relatively new Air Quality Consultant to rapidly develop their skills and experience within a well developed team.
You must be able to travel, as site based work will be required in the UK and there may be opportunities for short trips overseas to support some projects. A full UK driving license is essential


Qualifications:
Qualified to BEng/BSc level or equivalent
Ideally associate member of the Institute of Air Quality Management

Experience
Ideally demonstrable experience in an Air Quality consultancy role
Knowledge of air quality legislation at EU and UK level
Highly developed report writing skills
Self-motivated
Possess good written and oral communication skills
Good working knowledge of ADMS, ADMS Roads and/of Aermod would be advantageous
Ideally previous project management experience
competence with standard office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
A working knowledge of GIS software, especially Arc GIS would be useful
competent in handling air quality related datasets (experience of measurement, instrumentation and analytical techniques) would be advantageous

Undertaking Air Quality Impact Assessments
Dispersion Modelling
Monitoring programmes
Liaising with Local Authorities and Clients
Writing reports/chapters for Environmental Statements
Commercial/QA management of small projects
