The candidate will play a key role in the delivery of the Trust Workforce Intelligence strategy. Working within the Workforce Intelligence and Systems Team, the post holder will have two key strands of work: Responsibility for the co-ordination and management of the timely and accurate recording of ESR Establishment control changes in line with the Finance ledger to ensure a minimum of 95% reconciliation on a monthly basis.

Co-ordination and management of projects in relation to workforce intelligence systems and data quality - from major external returns, through to supporting the better use of workforce systems internally by developing compliance monitoring systems

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will lead on all Workforce Intelligence Systems Team related tasks, queries and issues providing solutions where possible and escalating issues to the Workforce Intelligence Systems manager when required.Workforce Intelligence Systems路 Assess customer requirements through discussions and provide suggestions for the most appropriate systems process or appropriate Team contacts within the Trust (Finance, Recruitment, IG, IT, Payroll etc.) 路 Interrogate and analyse systems requests and queries queues in addition to team processes, to ensure adherence to team SLA's and excellent data quality.System development路 Supervise and coordinate the creation, amendment and deletion of positions and other associated changes in relation to Workstructures on ESR, whilst ensuring governance protocols are followed.路 Manage the maintenance of ESR cost Centre hierarchy, working closely with Finance to ensure all Pay Cost Centres are capture on ESR in line with the Finance Organisation structure.路 Supervise and maintain the recording of establishment information on ESR, and proactively work with areas, managers and Finance Managers to achieve and maintain reconciliation with the General Ledger and whilst ensuring excellent data quality on ESR.路 Ensure ESR access is granted in accordance with Trust and departmental policies, keeping records of approvals for access, acceptable use protocol forms etc.路 In the absence of Workforce Systems & Information Analyst or during high volumes, carry out Workstructures and systems access transactions.路 Supporting the Workforce Intelligence Systems Manager in initiating and progressing system development projects which help ensure ESR and associated systems meet business and user needs路 Keep informed of new technology and developments around workforce systems, in particular ESR, and feed this back to the relevant stakeholders.路 Collate and document feedbacks, issues and comments from users and managers and use these to investigate and develop suggestions for future improvements to systems. 路 Maintain a thorough knowledge of all current and potential systems which interface with ESR (e.g. Finance Ledger).路 Identify data quality issues, reasons and propose solutions to overcome these.
