The role - Conference Producer
For this experienced Conference Producer role, we seek a confident individual who can successfully produce and lead large-scale conferences and exhibitions whilst bringing new creative and commercially viable ideas to the project. The speaker recruitment element is a big part of this conference producer role, we are looking to engage with experienced conference producers who enjoy and are skilled at this aspect of the job.
What will you be doing?
- Market research, develop valid topics and write an engaging and commercially viable agenda.
- Undertake detailed research on potential speakers, find industry experts, thought leaders, and influential figures for your events, utilise and develop your network to reach new speakers.
- Work collaboratively with internal marketing, sales and operations colleagues to drive conference campaign post-production.
- Review speaker performance and the attendee feedback, including any learnings into future speaker selection and engagement strategies for events.
- Ensure you lead on the project management for your events.
- Continuously build your network using platforms such as LinkedIn.
Your background
- Graduate with a good degree
- 1+ year's experience in a commercial conference production position where you have independently produced b2b conferences
- Large scale events experience advantageous
- Confident communicator
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Confident and positive about the speaker research and engagement element of the role - it's a big aspect of the conference production role.
- Excellent time management and multi tasking skills
- Excellent research skills
