An excellent opportunity to join the events team in this leading professional body involved in higher education. A varied and interesting role supporting the events team across all of the events functions covering logistics, content, sponsorship and marketing. You will work closely with the Events Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the events programme which will include face to face and online events, seminars, conferences and workshops.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the design and development of conference materials
  • Liaising with speakers and sponsors
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Event administration - badges, delegate lists, evaluation forms
  • Dealing with delegate enquiries
  • Updating the event web pages
  • Managing logistics for in-house events
  • Assisting on event days with registrations and note taking

Ideal experience:

  • Experience of managing admin processes
  • Experience of a customer facing role
  • Excellent standard of written English - able to draft letters etc
  • Strong MS Office skills including mail merge and Excel
  • Experience of using CMS systems
  • Experience of using Zoom and Teams
  • Experience of working in events preferred (ideally conferences)
  • Experience of email marketing useful
  • Experience of event management software useful
