Job Title: Events Assistant

Location: London - In the office at least one day per week

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and delivering both in-person and virtual events that offer networking opportunities for environmental sector professionals. Your efforts will support our commitment to tackling significant environmental challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of a range of events, from conferences to exhibitions, both online and on-site.
  • Provide administrative support using CRM systems like CVent and Civi.
  • Aid participants with registration, accommodation inquiries, and other event-related queries.
  • Support budgeting, invoicing, and sales tracking processes.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including AV, catering, and accessibility requirements.
  • Liaise with event partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Enhance audience engagement through interactive tools and marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in organising successful events
  • Proficiency in using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with a flair for communication and marketing.
