Are you passionate about event planning and coordination? Our client is a professional Membership body and they're looking for a dynamic Events Assistant to support an exciting programme of local, national, and international events, including Member Conferences, Graduation Ceremonies, Lectures, Dinners, Receptions and Webinars
Key Responsibilities include:
- Collaboration with the Head of Events and Coordinators: Work closely with the team to provide crucial support for the events programme. This involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events to ensure the run smoothly and align with the College's objectives.
- Webinars and Digital Content: Contribute to the delivery of regular webinars and the creation of digital video materials. This could include assisting with technical setup, coordination of speakers, managing registrations, and ensuring the production of high-quality digital content.
- Administrative Support: Play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of the events programme by providing administrative support. This includes tasks such as coordinating mailings, managing logistical aspects, booking facilities, processing delegate registrations, assisting with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) applications, and providing on-the-day administration
- Events Website and Social Media: Take responsibility for maintaining and updating the events website pages and promoting events via social media channels.
About you
- Preferably graduate level or equivalent
- Experience of events administration and delivery
- Excellent organisational skills, methodical approach to planning and exemplary attention to detail
- Experience of prioritising own workload
- Experience of working with people at all levels of an organisation
- Adaptable approach to working
- Able to travel with overnight stays and out of hours working for which you will receive TOIL
- IT Literate: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Experience of delivering events via online platforms is beneficial.
