We are currently recruiting for a new role within a prestigious University based in central London.

Job title: Events Coordinator

Pay: 16.39

Duration: Temporary currently until the end of December (able to apply for the permanent role)

Location: Central London (100% campus based)

Hours: Monday to Friday - 35 hours per week

The Department of Management is looking to hire ideally as soon as possible, to work as an Events Coordinator. The main function of this role is to organise research seminars, several of which take place on a weekly basis during term time.

The main function of this role is to:

  • Liaise with the relevant members of faculty responsible for booking the visiting speakers.
  • Booking the seminar room & placing catering orders (internal & external suppliers)
  • Setting-up Zoom links & circulating Outlook calendar invites
  • Liaison with the visiting speaker and internal teams to finalise details
  • Set-up/clear & manage the seminar/s on the day

The person needs to be very organised, AV literate and comfortable with hybrid meeting arrangements, confident and adaptable.
