Charity People are thrilled to be recruiting a new temporary Events Coordinator to join a fantastic charity who are hosting an event next month in London, and require some temporary events support, working in collaboration with a truly wonderful and supportive team.
This is a typical charity event support role, to ensure in the run up to the event, all things are taken care of effectively and efficiently. Much of the work is complete already, but this role requires someone to be responsible for the final planning and execution of the event, and finally, wrapping up the event. The event itself is in London early February, and you would be required o work that day, and then attend the event that evening until around 10pm. There are around 200 people attending, from around the world, and there will be an exhibit and auction on the evening.
Â
You will be highly motivated, bring energy to the team, and the event, with lots of initiative and knowledge to ensure the success of the event for the charity, and event attendees. Your personal, and communication skills are key for this role, as you will be dealing with a wide range of people. Other duties include liaising with vendors and couriers, printing, speaking with suppliers, tracking timelines, raising purchase orders and database work in terms of the donations.
Â
This is a great team of people, who really put their all into this charity and want to make this event brilliant, so they would love someone who will mirror this passion. It is a small team who work collaboratively and therefore would love the successful candidate to work with them in the office a minimum of three days per week, these days are flexible. They have a great office, with free gym access, as well as free tea/ coffee etc.

If this sounds of interest and you have experience of executing charity events, please reach out for further information about this excellent opportunity.
