Event Planner £15-19p/h Surrey, UKASAP Start, 11-month temp A fantastic opportunity arose with my client, a global managing consultancy with beautiful offices in Surrey. They are looking for a Event Planner to join their team as a One-on-One Event Planner to serve as the primary resource to manage all the bookings for the client’s One-on-One meetings and Ad-hoc requests involving their Experts. The One-on-One Event Planner is also responsible for calendar management, internal and external customer care, and providing a first-class attendee experience. This is a hybrid position with candidates needing to be in the Surrey office at least once per week or more. There is also an opportunity to travel in this role. Typical hours are 9 am – 5 pm most days, with flexibility if needed. What you'll do:
  • Coordinate one-on-one expert meetings, managing scheduling systems and ensuring alignment with the event agenda.
  • Optimize expert resource planning, address space requirements, and oversee pre-conference and on-site logistics.
  • Manage attendee support during virtual and in-person events, including mailbox queries, live chat, and check-ins.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing training on scheduling tools as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce expert bio materials and ensure meeting bookings meet attendee needs.
  • Analyze post-conference outcomes to drive improvements for future events.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of corporate experience and strong organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize in high-pressure environments, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across regions and with senior executives.
  • Experience in virtual event planning, client service, and process innovation.
  • Strong judgment, adaptability in ambiguous situations, and a track record of professional achievement.
