Brilliant opportunity for an EVENT SALES MANAGER to join a fast-paced and exciting international EVENTS business in which you will be working to well established event production-deadlines. The company is one pf the fastest growing - specialist - event organisers in the UK and has a track record of looking after its staff for well, with most people staying for well over a decade…it's a happy and profitable environment to work in. If you are successful you will also be given the change to become an equity owner in the business. The role is exciting , has B2B , B2C and sponsorship career streams that you can follow . There will be plenty of general phone work as well as networking and attending events in-person where you will meet clients . There is some international travel involved in this role to attend the global events . TITLE : EVENT Sales ManagerSalary : to £35,000 + OTE (uncapped). In year one, as you get used to the business model , you should earn an extra £10,000+ . DutiesWorking from a well-established list of existing customers you will:

  • Make outbound "courtesy calls" to introduce yourself to potential and also existing sponsors promoting event packages
  • Liaising with regards pricing of sponsorship packages and also explaining the costs of attendance
  • Chasing up the previous year's event attendees in order to check their attendance this year
  • Sending out event information, price lists, customer lists and other event-related information
  • Work to revenue sales targets
  • There will be some international travel in this role as you will be attending events

Requirements

  • Fluent English
  • Previous sales track record
  • Ideally previous event , advertising or publishing experience is useful
