Position Overview
The Events Administrator role is crucial to the growth and efficiency of our team and services. You will play a key role in supporting the development of new team "Event Decorations Assistant" members, ensuring our event decorators and planners receive the guidance and feedback needed to deliver excellent client experiences. You’ll start by assisting with our backdrop and decoration training programs, matching clients to our trained staff, and collecting client feedback to continually enhance service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Support: Coordinate and manage training sessions for new event decorators, focusing on backdrop setups and other decorative elements, in alignment with BU Events’ standards.
- Staff-Client Matching: Match clients with appropriate team members for event decoration and planning services based on project needs, staff expertise, and availability.
- Client Feedback Collection: Engage with clients post-event to gather feedback, ensuring all comments are recorded, summarized, and shared with the team for continuous improvement.
- Team Development: Provide administrative support in developing training resources, tracking team progress, and identifying areas for additional training.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain and organize records of training sessions, client matches, and feedback reports, assisting with general administrative tasks to streamline event operations.
- Growth Support: Assist in implementing strategies for scaling operations across London, with potential to support future expansion to Manchester and Birmingham.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Demonstrating an understanding of trainee support by providing essential information packs, answering questions, and offering guidance in basic backdrop decoration design. Foundational training will be provided. While prior experience in administration or customer service is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
