Key Responsibilities:- Event Management: Organise and manage seminars and events, both domestic and international. This includes sourcing quotes, planning, negotiating discounts, and handling all logistics from invitations to on-the-day management and follow-up.
- Materials Production: Edit seminar slides, produce marketing literature in InDesign, and manage email signatures.
- Database Management: Research and create contact lists, maintain the database, and handle email marketing. Collect feedback and improve marketing activities through the Lex practice management system.
- Advertising & Sponsorship: Produce adverts and coordinate sponsored events.
- Media Relations: Monitor media coverage and results.
- Digital Presence: Maintain and develop the chambers' website, manage social media, and provide support to barristers. Ensure content is up-to-date and manage relationships with website developers.
- Awards & Directories: Manage legal directory submissions and draft award submissions.
- Support Head of Marketing: Assist with client care programmes, in-house talks, competitor analysis, business development administration, and annual marketing reports.
- Professional Service: Provide a first-class, professional service at all times.
- Open Culture: Foster an open culture where ideas and opinions are shared.
- Project Management: Project manage specific marketing initiatives.
- Education & Qualifications: Degree educated and CIM qualified.
- Experience & Knowledge: A few years in a similar legal/professional services marketing role, preferably within barristers' chambers, with expertise in event and website/social media management.
- Skills & Competencies: Excellent attention to detail, self-starter, strong verbal and written communication, effective problem solver, commercially aware, and highly proficient in MS Office, website CMS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Lex diary software.
