THE ROLE:As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing relationships for an established event in the tech space, focusing on the cloud computing sector. You'll work closely with international colleagues and play a key role in rebranding and growing this highly successful event.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for exhibition space and sponsorships.
  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling.
  • Research industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage leads and client interactions through Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate data and reporting.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and content teams to deliver a seamless event experience.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build brand presence and generate leads.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Fluent in German (native-level or excellent proficiency) - essential for engaging with German-speaking clients.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within tech or events, with a consultative and strategic approach.
  • Familiarity with the technology sector, particularly cloud computing, data security, or big data, is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in Salesforce CRM and comfortable with sales reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
