Events Executive (12-Month FTC)We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded European law firm, currently looking for an Events Executive to join this excellent team on a 12-month contract basis (January 2025). The firm itself stand out with their renowned, established, and supportive team, who will put you in a brilliant position to further establish yourself in your career.They are standout specialists, and foster an environment that makes them a brilliant and positive firm to work with and for, as well as promoting a top-quality service that they've become known for across the market.The RoleIn this role, you'll be working within the Marketing & Business Development team of 6 which supports the Patent and Trade Mark fee earning teams and clients. You'll be overseeing the management of all firm events, as part of this team known for their high-quality, excellent service. You'll be supporting events across the UK, US, Netherlands, and also online, whilst liaising with different firm-wide teams and offices. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Planning, strategising, and executing internal and external client events, covering all lifecycle stages (analysis, vision, stakeholder collaboration, vendor negotiation, project management, AV/production, logistics, follow-up, metrics).
  • Managing internal event setups (badges, room setup, catering), logistics, and coordination, including physical work and out-of-hours tasks.
  • Overseeing external events (client meetings, socials, conferences), manage invitations, and RSVPs
  • Coordinating virtual event setups, logistics, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ensuring seamless hybrid events with MBD, Office Service, and IT for superior guest experiences.
  • Executing events aligning with firm strategy, message, budget, brand, and culture.
  • Measuring and reporting event effectiveness, manage budgets, lead generation, and ROI metrics.
  • Maintaining and promoting the firm's central events calendar.
  • Building and maintaining a vendor list for global and regional events.
  • Supporting special projects and assignments for the MBD team.

  • Proven experience in events (legal or professional services)
  • Experience with stakeholder management
  • A drive to deliver client satisfaction
  • Previous experience within IP is a plus
