Events Manager (TEMP/INTERIM) - Competitive Day Rate - Quick Start

If you are an experienced events professional with experience in a law firm, then get in touch about this exciting interim position to start ASAP. This renowned global law firm is seeking a dynamic individual to join their Marketing & Business Development department. You'll play a crucial role in executing a diverse range of events, from seminars and conferences to client hospitality and webinars, both in the UK and internationally.

Whilst it is an interim role initially, there is potential scope for it to become a permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning & Management: Collaborate with the team to plan and manage events from start to finish, including objectives, budgets, invitations, vendor management, and post-event analysis.
  • Targeted Lead Generation: Work with lawyers and the marketing team to develop target lists, track leads, and measure success.
  • Innovative Event Design: Create strategic, innovative event designs and manage delivery.
  • Client & Internal Events: Oversee in-person and virtual events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, and internal events like Town Halls and Partner Conferences.
  • Global Event Strategy: Manage the firm's event calendar, produce quarterly global event dashboards, and implement best practices.
  • Technical Support: Provide briefings, manage trial runs, and offer on-the-day technical support for virtual and hybrid events.
  • Internal Collaboration: Ensure all events are communicated effectively within the firm, maximizing cross-selling opportunities.

Experience Required:

  • Event Management: Extensive experience in running in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in a similar environment, with supervisory and training skills.
  • Experience within a law/professional services firm
