Exhibition and Event Development Manager

The role

The purpose of this role is to sell exhibition space for events to both new and existing contacts, driving the development, production, and delivery of new conferences, training programs, and events in consultation with key senior stakeholders. Additionally, it includes ensuring that new activities meet financial targets when applicable and developing effective strategies for selling exhibition space at events.

Key facts:

Full time permanent contract

Salary range of ca £44,000 - £49,000 pa

Hybrid working pattern: home based combined with minimum 2 days a week in the London office

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience of organising and managing in-person events
  • Experience of organising and managing online events
  • Experience of selling exhibition space

Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to problem solve

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in association Events
  • Experience of developing a strategy for maximising exhibition revenue at events
  • Experience of line management
