The Role

Within the role as Head of Events you will work closely with the client and your account team on a range of events across the globe. This senior level role will be crucial within the business, and key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on larger scale, complex events
  • Line management, training and team development
  • Monitoring service level agreements across the accounts and projects
  • Maintaining and improving department efficiency
  • Financial reporting and forecasting
  • Strategic business growth, collaborating internally with the sales team
  • Key account management and development
  • Overseeing event logistics end to end through the team

The Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience in project management within the event management and production industry
  • Proven track record in effective leadership and experience in training and mentoring team members.
  • Experience in leading an operational team.
  • A knowledge of all major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations
  • Knowledge of project management processes, standards, and procedures
