About the role 

An exciting opportunity to join an award-winning events team and work at the Iconic building and conference and events centre which houses the Royal College of Physicians in a lovely setting overlooking Regent’s Park. This magnificent venue offers a range of meeting, conference, dining and event spaces as well as services supporting virtual and hybrid events. The space connects the heritage of the organisation with iconic modern architecture creating exceptional events and lasting memories.

You will be part of an experienced and dynamic team working at the venue in London as well as administratively supporting our stylish venue Spaces at the Spine in Liverpool as required. You will work alongside the Senior Internal Social Meetings and Events Planner and will be an integral part of a busy team liaising with the President and CEO’s office, head of professional governance and other senior College Officers. In your role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of internal bookings and RCP social events, including key annual events, lectures, dinners, receptions and ceremonial events. You will also be one of the main points of contact for any RCP Fellows and Members wishing to book personal events. 

Your role in the team will be to ensure that events are administered, planned and delivered in consultation with the operational teams to the highest standards. You will work closely with and liaise with the commercial events team to ensure that commercial space in the diary is maximised to support income generation for the RCP whilst delivering events to support the RCP’s core charitable purpose. 

You will assist the team across Meeting & Events in all aspects as required, in order to support and meet revenue targets and departmental, and RCP, objectives.
