We're thrilled to be working with this fantastic global training and leadership development business to help them recruit a Senior Events Manager for a one year maternity contract.

The company works with an enviable client list of household name brands and large corporations, designing and delivering coaching and leadership development programmes. Based in a lively, international office in central London (3 days per week with the opportunity to work remotely for two days per week) this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced b2b corporate events manager to join an multi-national, entrepreneurial, fast-paced working environment.

The senior events manager will be part of the wider marketing team and will lead the organisation's global marketing events programme with the aim of generating leads from existing and new clients and building brand awareness.

The role will entail:

  • Planning, designing, delivering and evaluating global marketing events
  • Agreeing objectives and attendance lists with stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating logistics and helping to design high quality event content.
  • Keeping internal stakeholders up to date and providing detailed briefing documents for event speakers and attendees.
  • Ensuring maximum awareness is generated from events, and developing engaging communications for the event including invitation, reminder and follow up emails for guest and social media posts
  • Performing post event analysis and follow up to understand impact, ROR and comparison to goals for continued improvement.

You will need:

  • At least 5 years’ experience of all aspects of running b2b events in complex organizations
  • Strong communication skills, influencing skills and presence with senior executives
  • Persistence and creativity combined with a strategic and analytical approach
  • Ideally experience working in education and/or with HR stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot and Marketing Cloud

Salary: £45,000-£52,000 plus benefits
