Assistant PA to Head Teacher
  • Job Type: Full-time 8.00 - 16.00 (or 08.30 - 16.30) 
  • Location: London
  • Salary: £19.50 per hour

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive and efficient support primarily to the Head’s Executive Assistant (EA), as well as offering administrative assistance for various school functions and operations. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and enjoys working in a dynamic educational environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist the Head’s EA with diary management, including arranging appointments and supporting meeting preparations.
  • Make travel arrangements for the Head and others as required, under the guidance of the Head’s EA.
  • Support the Head’s EA with the Head’s personal diary and arrangements.
  • Welcome visitors to the Head’s office, providing refreshments and other hospitality as needed.
  • Undertake additional administrative duties to support the Co-curricular Administrator.
  • Assist the ER Office with the administration of external events and provide support in person during these events.
  • Help coordinate school events and operational matters such as assemblies, house competitions, and school fundraising events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational or similar setting.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard office management software.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

MUST be reliable, punctual and committed, this is an ongoing assignment.
