Our client, a leading organisation in Adults Social Services, is seeking a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) Senior Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital area of social care, ensuring the rights and well-being of service users who may lack the capacity to make certain decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Oversight: Maintain and develop effective administrative systems for the DOLS team, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and best practises.
- Supervisory Support: Provide guidance and support to fellow administrators, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Workload Management: Organise, prioritise, and manage your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and detail.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of DOLS administrative processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Service Excellence: Work closely with the Head of Safeguarding Adults/MCA-DOLS Service Manager to deliver exceptional service to Richmond and Wandsworth service users.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in DOLS: A solid understanding of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards framework and practical experience in a related administrative role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, enabling efficient document management and communication.
- Independent Worker: Ability to work autonomously while remaining flexible to the needs of the team and the organisation.
- Team Player: A collaborative approach, valuing teamwork and the contributions of others.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed to the highest standard.
