OverviewA health-related government agency is looking for a highly motivated and solution-orientated private secretary to join their Governance Office and:

  • Work proactively with senior officials on the corporate management and development of the organisation as well as become involved with critical regulatory challenges
  • Provide high quality, incisive briefing/advice at pace, while also understanding the bigger picture and the CEO priorities connect.
  • Lead the development of new processes to build new capabilities within the team and with clear commitment to continuous improvement.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Briefing and Advice: Provide high-quality, incisive briefings and advice, understanding the bigger picture and CEO priorities.
  • Project Management: Support the delivery of key public health projects, conferences, and international programmes
  • Governance Support: Ensure effective operation of governance committees, set agendas, resolve issues, and support public health outcomes.
  • Representation: Act as a representative of the Governance Office, assisting colleagues in delivering public health outcomes.
  • Corporate Management: Work proactively with senior officials on the corporate management and development of the organisation, addressing regulatory challenges.
  • Process Improvement: Support the development of new processes to build team capability and commit to continuous improvement.

What you'll get in return
