Production Operative

Job title: Production Operative

Job type: Temporary - Ongoing

Location: Edmonton, N18

Pay rate: £18.55 per hour

Working days: Candidates aligned to yearly shift rota, this will include some weekends & bank holidays

Shifts: 12 Hour Shift

Day shift: 06:00 - 18:00 & Night: 18:00 - 06:00

(Shifts hours vary across 7 days per week and you must be fully flexible to cover any mixture of days, nights and weekends including bank holidays as you will be on a yearly shift rota)

Start date: Immediate (Successful candidates will be given a comprehensive induction and full training).

*Should be flexible to work on weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a machine as part of a high speed production line manufacturing carbonated soft drinks
• Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards at all times
• Manual handling will be required
• Ensure effective production of quality products
• Follow all standard operating procedures
• Responsible for handling the product efficiently
• Understanding and following company policies
• Pro-actively controlling potential problems
• Part of a close knit manufacturing team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in machine operating or production roles is preferred but not essential
• Should have good communication skills (Verbal & written)
• Team work & intra social skills essential! The manufacturing teams are small & work closely together
