Title: Production Operative
Salary: £11.50 per hour + Paid overtime
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Whetstone, Leicestershire
VH Talent is seeking a reliable Production Operative to join a friendly and dynamic team for a company that specialises within a unique industry. If you’re a self-starter who enjoys a role that provides variety in a fast paced environment, this role is for you!
***Permanent role and immediately available
The Production Operative Role:
- A proactive role, carrying out various duties from initial picking of materials through to packing for dispatch, operating as part of a small team
- Following specifications and ensuring accuracy in the work carried out
- Using various hand tools and soldering
- Managing and maintaining stock levels
- Quality checking items
- Reporting into the Production Manager and ensuring meeting production targets
- Comply with health and safety and general house keeping
You’ll Need:
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering setting isn't essential, however desirable
- Manual handling will be expected as part of the role
- Excellent problem solving skills
- IT Literate
- Good awareness of Health & Safety in a manufacturing environment
- Full UK Driving Licence is preferred as you may be required to support with deliveries during busier times
