THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading British prestigious arts organisation renowned across the globe, specialising in outstanding performances of traditional and new works.   

THE ROLE

As an Artist Liaison Manager, you will help achieve our client’s commitment to evolve its commercial relationship with its artists, ensuring that both the organisation and the individual artist are mutually benefitted.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Business Director and Commercial team to develop and manage commercial sponsorship models that support both the organisation and the individual artist
  • Negotiate and agree elements within commercial deals that pertain to the Artist
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the organisation and the Artists for all commercial matters
  • Ensure all sponsorship commitments involving Artists are agreed upon and upheld as appropriate
  • Host brand liaison inductions for all new Artists and Company members
  • Provide counsel and guidance to Artists in relation to their personal commercial activities, ensuring that their personal commitments comply with the organisation’s guidelines
  • Identify and develop mechanisms that will generate additional income for the Artist community as a whole

THE PERSON

It is important to have a proven track record of commercial brand management or strong artist relationship management.

This role serves as a strong link between the arts organisation and artists that they champion. As such, it is essential to have strong people and relationship skills as well as negotiation skills.

It would be advantageous to understand the art forms or the ability to be able to gain knowledge in a short space of time.
