Licensing Consent Advisor Advisor required for a major offshore wind developer based in Scotland

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing, submitting and negotiating marine licences and other consents and licences required for onshore and offshore surveys.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the terms and conditions of all licences and consents are disseminated to the relevant survey team in a timely and accessible manner to facilitate the provision of documentation and briefings to vessels and survey contractors.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring consents compliance before during and after surveys.
  • Under the guidance of the Consent Discharge Offshore Lead ensure develop a consenting strategy for JV survey licensing.
  • Consolidate and develop appropriate trackers and other monitoring tools necessary to manage the licensing and consenting of survey activities including pre and post application activities.
  • Ensure that internal processes are documented, socialised with and followed by the wider project team as needed.
  • Map the critical path with interfaces into the project schedule. Identifying and sharing lessons learned where possible.
  • Attend go/no-go and /or mobilisation meetings as required to talk to consenting matters
  • Undertake internal compliance checking through desktop and site work as required and liaise with regulators and consultees in respect of any queries regarding compliance.
  • Develop strong relationships with the JV survey team, relevant survey managers, health and safety team and relevant consent team members to ensure that consenting and environmental risks are identified and managed. This may include hosting planned meetings and drop-in sessions for team members as well as responding to ad hoc short notice queries from the survey managers.
  • Manage the delivery of inputs such as scopes of work from the survey managers to ensure that applications are sufficiently scoped to support survey delivery including flexibility as required.
  • Manage external environmental consultants as required to obtain necessary licences and consents including management of budget, schedule and quality.
