The City & Capital team are currently representing a highly respected & fast growing commercial property finance lender who have retained our services to appoint an ambitious Financial Analyst Assistant at an exciting time. ?

Our client is extremely well-funded with increased investment driving a new round of growth which is set to take the business to the next level. Due to this they are keen to bolster their financial analysis department with the appointment of an individual who will commence as an Analyst Assistant, but that will grow in to a senior analyst role in time.

To support that there will be a lot of assistance with your development and plenty of progression potential where excellent performance and attitude is delivered.

Within the role you will support a Corporate Manager & Senior Analyst with the creation and optimisation of financial models that are utilised to help the business make important decisions on aspects such as corporate funding lines, investments & loan portfolios.

Role duties include (but are not limited to):?

  • Research activity to gather relevant data for modelling
  • Devising and working with online and excel based financial models
  • Preparing paperwork, documents & data
  • Liaising with external departments, such as legal, risk and finance (accounts)
  • Developing business plans in line with model outcomes
  • Assisting in developing audit plans - Data gathering and reporting
  • Reviewing loan documentation and accuracy of financial information
  • Reconciling payments
  • Reviews of loan portfolios and investment/funding performance
  • Monthly reporting on funding lines
  • Assisting with management of the external loan tape
  • Undertaking logic reviews

Experience Required

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
  • Experience in financial modelling & data analysis

This role is open to graduates as well as those with some commercial experience working in a similar role.

Our client is ideally looking to pay c£45k/£50k as a basic salary for the ideal individual. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional experience. Salary will be complemented by immediate access to our clients favourable benefits & bonus package too, to boost year on year earnings.
