Finance Business Analyst - IFRS Reporting - London (Hybrid 3 days onsite) - 12 month contract (PAYE)
Are you a Finance Business Analyst with a strong background in Accountancy and a passion for process improvement? Do you have expertise in IFRS reporting and the financial services sector?We have a 12 month contract role with a global Investment Bank in London, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing their IFRS reporting capability.
Role Overview:As they are working on a new Regulatory Reporting solutions, you will be working on the design and implementation of new processes and defining the operating models that align with IFRS reporting standards. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams and be instrumental in shaping their reporting capabilities to meet regulatory requirements and support strategic decision-making.
Key Qualifications and Experience:- Educational Background: Degree in Accountancy or a related field
- Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry, ideally working for global banking clients
- IFRS Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS standards and financial regulatory reporting
- Process Design & Improvement: Skilled in process analysis, development, and implementation for financial regulatory reporting
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret large, complex financial data sets and identify areas for efficiency and improvement
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments
- Technology: Experience of Power BI and Cloud Technology would be an advantage
- Onsite: this is a hybrid role with expectation of working3 days onsite in Canary Wharf
