We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in payments platforms and business change. You will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic projects and supporting the payment operations team, ensuring impactful changes are implemented across systems, processes, and people. Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teams to deliver the payments platform strategy, managing both project-based and BAU changes.
- Ensure alignment between solutions and strategic objectives, covering systems, processes, and technology.
- Elicit and evaluate business requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility for implementation.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into actionable requirements.
- Support the creation of a Business Analysis Center of Excellence to enhance standards and processes.
- Manage project documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process, and customer journey maps.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and project alignment.
- Proven experience in business analysis, especially within the payments or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of requirements engineering frameworks and familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence for requirements management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building relationships.
- Experience in mapping business processes and customer journeys, ensuring operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the UK financial services payments landscape and architecture.
- Experience in business case development and evaluation of project benefits.
