The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transaction Manager to join our team in London area at Harmony Auto. The Transaction Manager will play a crucial role in driving the profitability and efficiency of our automotive dealership. This position combines sales management responsibilities with transaction oversight, ensuring that our sales team achieves their targets while maintaining exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in the automotive industry.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of Sales Executives to meet and exceed sales targets for new and used vehicles. Provide coaching and mentorship to enhance team performance.
- Oversee pricing strategies, financing options, and vehicle appraisals to maximise dealership profitability. Analyse sales data to forecast revenue and manage inventory effectively.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Address customer concerns promptly and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Conduct regular training sessions to equip Sales Executives with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, including Financial Conduct Authority regulations. Prepare for and manage audits, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
- Identify and implement strategies to drive growth in both new and used car sales. Track market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as profitability per unit (PPU) and renewal rates. Set and communicate clear goals for the sales team, ensuring alignment with dealership objectives.
- Develop effective inventory management processes to optimise stock turnover and ensure the dealership remains competitive in the market.
Requirements
- Proven experience of delivering results at a dealership manager level; preferably as a Transaction Manager or similar position.
- Strong understanding of automotive sales processes, financing, and compliance regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using sales analytics to inform decision-making.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Full driving license and clean driving record

Compensation and Benefits
- Highly competitive salary, up to 45,000 basic annual salary with a performance-based bonus, depending on experience.
