Arthur is pleased to be working with a Lloyd’s specialty (re)insurer seeking a Capital Modelling Analyst to join their team in London. This role involves supporting the capital modelling function to meet regulatory and internal requirements, with the opportunity to develop technical expertise in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the capital model, including methodology, coding, parameters, data, exposure, and reinsurance inputs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for policies and processes.
  • Produce analysis and commentary to support internal and external reporting.
  • Progress through the IFoA actuarial exams, aligning with professional development goals.
  • Uphold the company’s values by maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
Requirements:
  • Actuarial skills at the level of a nearly qualified UK actuary.
  • Strong IT skills with an interest in coding and technology.
  • Knowledge of general insurance practices.
  • Experience with capital modelling software (e.g., Igloo, Tyche) is strongly preferred but not essential.
  • Prior capital modelling experience is advantageous.
