Ongoing Temporary Position

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join this International Bank based in Central London, as they seek to recruit a CDD Analyst to join their expanding Corporate Banking department. You will be responsible for conducting full and complete due diligence on their new and existing customer, and ensuring this is in adherence of all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities of the Corporate CDD Analyst will include;

  • Conduct thorough client due diligence (CDD) for both new and existing clients in line with regulations.
  • Verify client documentation, including identification, business operations, source of wealth, and funds.
  • Draft and send RFIs to obtain required information from clients.
  • Screen clients for PEPs, sanctions, and adverse media and then document findings and recommend actions.
  • Perform risk assessments to detect financial crime risks, including money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • Update client records with new or revised information.
  • Guide and train junior staff on CDD processes and best practices.
  • Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies.
  • Share knowledge to foster team learning and development.

Requirements for the successful Corporate CDD Analyst to include:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience within the Banking Industry, ideally Corporate or Private Banking
  • Proven experience within corporate onboarding and due diligence, with strong knowledge of AML and KYC.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to interpret complex compliance requirements.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, and proficient in Excel (Advanced Level Desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills
  • Should have a positive "can do" attitude combined with a flexible approach to the tasks required
