An exciting Finance Analyst opportunity has arisen within a well-established multi sector Private Equity firm as they seek to harness the benefits of effective data analytics.

Located in the heart of London, this role offers a competitive salary range of £90,000 - £100,000 and comes with an array of benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for development of analysis, management reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes for the Group. What you'll do:

As a Finance Analyst, your role will be pivotal in developing analytical tools, taking charge multiple platforms. You will create and present clear information from large data sets utilizing data visualization tools. You will play a key role in planning and executing the annual budget process as well as managing monthly forecasting.

  • Develop and maintain the data visualization platforms and tools such as PowerBi
  • Maintain the quarterly management reporting model.
  • Produce quarterly Management Information/Performance pack.
  • Produce quarterly cost centre reports for the wider finance team.
  • Partner with budget holders to review spend versus budget and highlight any anomalies.
  • Plan and execute the annual budget process on a timely basis.
  • Manage the Group's forecasting processes including monthly cash flow forecasting.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-8 years post qualification experience. A background in financial services is essential. Demonstrable experience with finance systems having previously worked in roles involving management reporting, forecasting and budgeting. As a pro-active self-starter, you are always ready to challenge existing processes and strive for continuous improvement. Your commercial focus will enable you to make strategic decisions that benefit the business.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with 3-8 years PQE.
  • Previous experience in financial services
  • Strong finance systems experience.
  • Previous experience in management reporting, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Pro-active self-starter who is keen to challenge existing processes.
  • Commercially focused accountant.
  • Interest in finance systems with an appetite for continuous improvement.
