Sterling Williams is seeking a permanent Finance Analyst for a Cross-Border payments organization based in London.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or management accounting, preferably in the Financial Services/FinTech industry.
Candidates should be CIMA qualified or part qualified and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
The position involves conducting financial analysis, developing financial models, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The salary for this role is competitive, and the work arrangement includes 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Sterling Williams are engaged with a Cross-Border payments organisation, based in London who are looking for a permanent Finance Analyst. This is a role that works from the office 3 days per week, with 2 from home, and will support the global finance and treasury functions. You will likely be CIMA qualified, or part qualified, with a minimum of 3 years experience in Financial analysis, FP&A or as a management accountant - preferably from the Financial Services/FinTech industry.

What you'll be doing:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations by providing comprehensive analysis, reporting, and forecasting. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data.
Perform financial forecasting and budgeting, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and economic conditions.

The successful Financial Analyst will likely have:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively within a global team, as well as independently.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset with a strong spirit.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field alongside professional qualifications (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent - Studier, Part Qual or fully qualified.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling tools.
Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.
