You'll handle both day-to-day financial operations and more analytical tasks. While this is primarily a transactional finance role, there’s significant potential to expand your responsibilities based on your skills and ambitions.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed financial records, including cash flow tracking and loan activity.
- Issue invoices and manage payments, such as expenses, payroll, and loan repayments.
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
- Assist with VAT returns and audit preparation in collaboration with external partners.
- Provide financial insights to inform business decisions.
- You’ll be the sole person managing the finance function, so self-motivation and initiative are crucial.
What We’re Looking ForEssential Skills and Experience:
- Solid experience in transactional finance, ideally within a small to medium-sized business.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- A passion for film, TV, or the creative industries.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Desirable:
- Experience or knowledge of the independent film or entertainment sectors.
