Cedar is currently partnered with, a private-equity-backed telecommunications business, to secure an Interim Finance Analyst specialising in Corporate Finance. The role is a 3-month contract initially, paying a day rate of £450-500 per day.

Offering a seamless, contract-free service with rapid connectivity, their model eliminates the need for traditional landlines and complex installation processes. As the business scales, they are navigating a period of potential ownership changes, a planned fundraising effort, and debt restructuring initiatives to support their continued growth.
The RoleAs Interim Finance Analyst, you will focus on:
- Data Management & Integrity: Manage and refine data inputs across group entities, using PowerBI to scrutinise the existing Data Cube, ensuring accurate P&L, margins, and financial data for reports and valuations.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with operational and financial teams to gather, validate, and analyse data, ensuring it accurately reflects business performance and meets stakeholder requirements.
- Financial Modelling & Valuation: Develop and enhance financial models for group-wide valuation exercises, including scenarios for fundraising, debt restructuring, and ownership transitions.
- Scenario Analysis: Support M&A and financial scenario planning, using PowerBI insights to assess potential impacts on the company's financial structure and valuation.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Optimise data collection and reporting processes, recommending system enhancements and exploring automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual input.
Your ProfileYou will ideally have:
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with a deep understanding of the underlying data used to structure corporate finance activities.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with non-finance stakeholders and external advisors.
- Previous experience in an interim/contract role is beneficial but not required.
- The day rate of £450-500 reflects the value based on your previous compensation or day rate.
