I am currently assistant one of our US Law Firm clients, on a Finance Operations Analyst position. This role is an operational position involving a mixture of Accounts Payable and Legal Cashiering and my client are looking for someone with prior Legal Finance/Chrome River experience to cover maternity leave for 12 months (12 month FTC)

Key duties:

  • Chrome River expense and invoice approval
  • Monitoring and tracking purchase order allocations in Chrome River
  • Invoice entry and posting outside of Chrome River
  • Partner draw and distribution payments
  • Monitor cashflow and convert funds when required
  • Preparation of intra company invoices
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist with the Solicitors Accounts Rules audit
  • Maintain bills list
  • Prepare and submit various statistics returns
  • Expense analysis
  • Assist with the firms tax return
  • Reporting and entering client receipts
  • Reviewing and posting journals

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' legal accounts experience
  • Knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules preferred
  • Experience with Aderant and Chrome River preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft programs
