Join a leading global organisation that champions and represents the music industry. Our client are looking for a Temp Financial Analyst to assist in financial data collection and analysis, contributing to the growth of their thriving organisation. This role is ideal for someone with excellent financial analytical skills and very good working knowledge of Excel.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist with the annual financial data collection and analysis from worldwide Music companies.
- Review data submitted, checking for errors and unexplained variances.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand reasons for year-on-year movements and to chase missing or pending data.
- Prepare accurate and complete financial reports before sending them for review.
- Create charts in Excel for use in PowerPoint presentations.
- Respond to ad hoc queries.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in a financial analysis role.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including proficient use of pivot tables and lookup functions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a self-starter.
- Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) to part-qualified level.
- A numerical degree (maths, engineering, physics, etc.) is an advantage.
