We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. As an employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients' organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, managing and maintaining project financials, including budgeting and forecasting. What you'll do:

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing project financials, collaborating closely with technical product owners and project managers. Your responsibilities will include preparing regular financial reports for leadership, identifying opportunities for process improvement, maintaining project governance processes, assisting in resource allocation, conducting quality reviews, providing support to the PMO, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies. Your ability to work collaboratively within a team environment will be key to your success in this role.

* Manage and maintain project financials, including budgeting & forecasting.* Collaborate with tech product owners & project managers to develop project budgets and forecasts.* Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to leadership highlighting key financial metrics, variances, and trends.* Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in financial management.* Maintain project governance processes and standards.* Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning.* Conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project management standards and requirements.* Provide administrative and operational support to the PMO.* Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the PMO.* Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Analyst position will bring a strong academic background with a degree in business, finance or accounting. You should be a part-qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) with proven experience in project financial management. Your strong analytical skills will be essential for budgeting and forecasting tasks. Proficiency in using financial management software is required along with an excellent attention to detail. A collaborative approach is necessary as you'll be working closely with various teams. Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall would be beneficial.
