Financial Analyst - Financial - City - £35 per hour

Wise May are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) to join a busy International Financial Services business in London on a temporary basis.

This position will be responsible for providing financial analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to support decision-making processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and maintenance of financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models.

- Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting to senior management.

- Partner with key business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and improve financial performance.

- Support strategic planning, budgeting, and long-term financial modeling.

- Prepare financial presentations and reports for executive meetings.

- Analyse business performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or growth.

- Manage monthly and quarterly financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a senior role.

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

- Experience with financial software (e.g., Excel, SAP, or similar platforms).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- A professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred but not essential.

Additional Information:

- This is a temporary contract role, offering £35 per hour.

- The role will be based in London, with some flexibility on work location, if applicable.
