Our client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your financial expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.
What you'll do:
- Direct the preparation of financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses
- Prepare special reports required by regulatory authorities
- Direct the organisation's budgets to meet its financial goals
- Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities
- Execute capital-raising strategies to support firm's expansion
- May oversee the firm's issuance of credit, establishing credit-rating criteria, determining credit ceilings, and monitoring the collections of past-due accounts
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Financial Analyst position brings a wealth of experience in financial analysis within the finance industry. You possess an advanced degree in accounting or a related field along with professional certifications such as CA/CPA/CMA/MBA/CFA. Your expert knowledge of federal, state, and company policies as they relate to finance/accounting sets you apart from others.
- Degree in Accounting or related financial discipline (Required)
- Advanced degree (Preferred)
- CA/CPA/CMA/MBA/CFA (Preferred)
- Significant financial and/or accounting analysis experience (Required)
- Financial analysis experience in financial industry (Required)
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills (Required)
- Ability to analyse business trends and project future revenues and expenses (Required)
- Expert knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to finance/accounting (Required)
- Expert user proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheet/modeling skills (Required)
- Advanced user proficiency in MS Project (Required)
