Key responsibilities:

  • Providing Finance Directors with cost and WIP details, overhead spend and other associated costs. Analysis and insights will be need to be shared.
  • Production of supporting data for monthly project reviews, trading reviews and functional cost reviews.
  • Ad hoc reporting of gross cost management plans
  • Liaising with accounting shared service centre colleagues, ensuring accuracy of data and timely cost reporting
  • Coordinate UK project budgets and forecasts
  • Prep of cost centre and maintenance of service budgets and forecasts through business partnering
  • Coordination of 13 week rolling forecasts for UK projects, partnering with brand Finance Directors and the commercial team
  • Monitoring and explanations of cost centre variances for budgets and forecasts
  • Production of cash and P&L analysis
  • Production of month end dashboards for cost centre analysis
  • Cross-divisional and cross-border business partnering, deriving analysis, planning and modelling.

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), able to utilize their accounting experience, and knowledge of the construction/engineering industry to bring about accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. A minimum of 3 years industry experience in a similar role will be required, as well as strong software skills including Excel and SAP.
