Our client, an engineering consultancy with a global reach are looking to recruit a newly created role of an FP&A Analyst to sit within their Group FP&A function. The role will be responsible for delivering financial reports and analysis for the Group integrated / global functions. This involves ensuring that processes are consistent, accurate, compliant, and insightful, and supporting the needs of both the business and external stakeholders. This role will play in important part in providing the reporting for the Global Investment Executive and coordinating updates from budget holders. Key responsibilities include:* Ownership of the reporting of the financial planning cycle and rolling forecasting process for some of the integrated functions or Central Groups. For example, functions include Marketing, People, Legal, Finance and Digital.* Monthly monitor reporting on salary, overheads & expenses for the integrated function and business partnering with the function representatives to rectify miss postings and corrections.* Analyse and review the financial results and performance to produce executive reports and insightful commentary used to support decision making and a thorough understanding of operations performance and trends.* Coordinating data flows from finance related systems, integrity and completeness of the data used for reporting purposes.* Providing reporting for the Investment Executive to provide timely updates on the newly formed Global Investment categories.* Ad hoc reporting requests.The successful applicant will be detail oriented, thorough, well organised, and effectively manage time. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail and the ability to work in an agile and collaborative manner within a complex and changing business environment. You will be degree educated and preferably be working towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) along with having previous experience of working within FP&A and business partnering with internal stakeholders.
