This FP&A Specialist will be the main point of contact for the budget, forecasting, and financial reporting for my client's EMEA business providing variance analysis and business insights to aid decision-making and performance reviews. They are responsible for financial reporting, planning coordination, gap analysis, communication with internal teams, and ensuring compliance with J-Sox controls, addressing special financial issues and managing cash flow.

Client Details

My client is a multinational luxury retail fashion brand with an established presence across the EMEA, US and APAC. Currently separating from their parent company and building out their internal finance capacity they are looking for a qualified, skilled FP&A specialist to join their London team as they grow. Keen to find someone who has prior experience working with SAP and ideally with FP&A in the fashion/retail space, this is an exciting time to step on in your career and be a part of a lean finance team with multi-million dollar revenue.

Description

  • Create monthly and quarterly reports with financial analysis and insights
  • Analyse the monthly and quarterly P&L, profit contribution, and explain any deviation from budgets/forecasts
  • Engage with key business stakeholders, becoming a key point of contact across the business
  • Support the Finance Business Partner and work closely with the Finance Director and CFO
  • Identify areas to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Process invoices and payments when required and ensure compliance with J-Sox across the business
  • Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models

Profile

A successful FP&A Specialist should have:

  • Accounting qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in SAP and other similar software
  • A strong background in financial analysis and forecasting - preferably within the fashion/retail sector
  • Excellent Excel skills including creating models, pivot tables, and data manipulation
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Offer
