My client, a global entertainment business based near HIGH STREET KENSINGTON STATION is seeking a GRADUATE FINANCIAL ANALYST to join their growing business.

THE ROLE

  • Develop expertise in relevant business areas, understanding key performance drivers and industry context
  • Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, and support and advise on commercial opportunities and issues.
  • Proactively explore data, evaluate financial performance, and analyse key performance metrics to support the delivery of in-year targets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and drive actions on risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor and deliver high quality, timely management information
  • Partner with our Business Intelligence Unit to drive improvements to management information and business intelligence tools.
  • Take ownership of budgets, forecasts, and business plans
  • Provide financial leadership and analytical support to help shape business activity at a strategic and operational level; model scenarios, advise on key assumptions and trade-offs and support the alignment of resources to strategic priorities
  • Drive the simplification and automation of financial modelling.
  • Work with data source owners to ensure that key data is accurate, automated, and timely
  • Work with the Shared Service Function to deliver accurate management accounts and month-end reports
  • Monitor and improve the integrity of financial processes and the operation of an effective internal control framework.

THE IDEAL PERSON

  • A recent to university graduate with at least a 2.1 in a numerate degree
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically strong competency using Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly analytical with great problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to form strong relationships to challenge and influence assertively and cooperatively.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to constantly learn and develop.
  • A self-starter with effective time management skills
  • A team player willing to deliver beyond their personal brief.
