Head of Finance & Operations (D365 BC) - London based
My client are a charity who are currently a leader in fighting the climate crisis who are a design company who are trying to shape the face of advertisement. They are going through an IT transformation, and one of their biggest projects is implementing a new back-end ERP system, D365 Business central. So they are looking for a Head of Finance & Operations who will come in and lead financial results, controls and processes and also be the owner of the BC system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Being overall owner of the financial results, controls and processes.
  • Supporting each departmental Head to develop annual budgets, and track performance both in terms of project financials as well as resourcing.
  • Delivering robust financial reporting and forecasting, including cash flow.
  • Promote data-driven decisions through meaningful and timely management information.
  • Custodian of IT landscape, ensuring fit for purpose systems and optimizing application use and licensing.
  • Ensuring robust and efficient delivery by external service providers in line with SLAs and organizational requirements (IT support, bookkeeping, payroll, serviced office).
  • Owner of Microsoft Business Central ERP system and set up.
  • Member of the senior leadership team, and line manager of Senior Finance Manager (part time) and Senior Operations & Special Projects Manager.
  • Working with the Director of Finance & Operations to develop and implement strategy

Key Requirements:
  • Qualified financial professional (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years working in a managerial finance role
  • Business partnering experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central ERP
  • Experience of financial analysis, forecasting and modelling
  • Experience of designing and implementing systems, and managing user / access requirements and navigating various data architectures
