Our client, a PE backed telecommunications business, is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the Senior Finance Business Partner within a growing commercial finance function. This role will drive the finance analysis and reporting for new product launches, product cost analysis as well as supporting the infrastructure & network build business. The role will model, analyse, and communicate key metrics and drivers of the business with clear ability to create insightful analysis, particularly as it relates to the business unit, revenue, profit and product performance.Key Responsibilities include:• Support in the financial reporting, tracking and forecasting of new product launches• Support in the financial evaluation of business case templates and post investment appraisals and validation of key modelling assumptions• Provide reporting and forecasting across full wholesale P&L• Through strong collaboration with various teams, provide key inputs and insights into the monthly reporting and budget and forecasting cycles• Drive, track and report on key product initiatives and projects• Identify and evaluate trends to establish and highlight risks and opportunities• Leverage technology and best practices to drive overall process improvements and efficienciesCritical Skills• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals• Experienced in complex financial analysis• Motivated self-starter, ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision• Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills• Ability to perform and deliver quality results within a highly matrixed environment• Ability to problem solve with strong analytical and financial modelling skills - ability to identify the root cause of issues, propose possible solutions or improvements and influence ultimate decision• Ability to work with and communicate with all organization levels, including senior management; ability to present and explain financial information to non-finance professionalsThe successful applicant will be a qualified accountant with experience of FP&A, Financial Reporting and have previous experience in delivering interim assignments.
