This not-for-profit organisation is looking to recruit an experienced Interim Financial Analyst. You will work be working remote, as key part of a busy finance team within the global operations team.

Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, your daily duties will include:

  • Support the team with implementing new accounting software and reviewing current financial systems as needed.
  • Deliver improvement in practices across the team and wider organisation in line with best practice policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing funder reports and reviewing management reports.
  • Respond to a range of requests from variety of stakeholders e.g. related to financial aspects of planning, budgeting, reporting and analysis.
  • Provide training and support to the wider network on financial systems and procedures.
  • Develop, design and implement internal financial communication to improve understanding and compliance with financial processes.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or part-qualified individual with the necessary financial analytical, systems implementation, and reporting skills gained through experience within a financial function. You must have experience designing, implementing and streamlining finance systems prior to and post implementation.

For this exciting role, it is essential that you have excellent systems skills with strong Excel knowledge a prerequisite with the ability to create and manage complex files, analyse and present data in an appropriate manner. Experience of working with different financial systems is a prerequisite, whilst a knowledge of NetSuite although not essential would be advantageous.
