Interim FP&A Analyst | Deep Tech Scale-Up | 3 Month Contract

Harmonic is delighted to be working with a cutting-edge deep-tech scale-up that is revolutionizing autonomous transportation systems through advanced AI and robotics. They are looking for an Interim FP&A/Finance & Data Analyst to join for an initial contract with the high likelihood of becoming permanent.

The Role

The FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role in improving and automating the company's financial reporting and forecasting processes. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be instrumental in ensuring data accuracy, developing robust financial models, and enabling efficient decision-making through enhanced reporting and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automated processes for data extraction and reporting across financial systems.
  • Automate the creation of weekly board packs and monthly finance packs to streamline reporting efficiency.
  • Ensure that financial and operational data is accurately and effectively pulled from all relevant systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate disparate data sources into cohesive, actionable insights.
  • Improve the financial forecasting process through advanced modelling and analytics.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Support the preparation of detailed financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Enhance visualization and interpretation of financial data to enable rapid, informed decisions.
  • Identify areas for improvement in current financial systems and processes.

What we'd like to see (essential)

  • Proven experience with process improvement and automation
  • Strong FP&A skills
  • Experience in a dynamic start-up or scale-up environment
  • Prior experience with either Power BI/SQL/Tableau

Contract Length: 3 months with potential to extend or transition to a permanent role.

Day Rate: £375-450

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hybrid/Remote
